Bolia opens new store in Vienna city center – Modesta Real Estate mediates the deal

The Danish design company Bolia, renowned for its high-quality Scandinavian-style furniture, will open a new store of approximately 380 m² on Weihburggasse in Vienna’s 1st district in September 2025. The leasing of this prestigious space in the heart of Vienna’s city center was successfully facilitated by Modesta Real Estate.

Bolia stands for New Scandinavian Design – a combination of natural aesthetics, sustainable thinking, and timeless elegance. The brand’s premium furniture reflects a shared passion for clean lines, natural materials, and responsible design.

The retail space impresses with its central location, just steps away from Vienna’s most famous shopping streets such as Graben, Kärntner Straße, the Goldenes Quartier, and Tuchlauben. Major sights like St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace, and the Plague Column are also nearby, ensuring high foot traffic.

The approximately 380 m² sales area is spread across three levels – ground floor, basement, and an additional lower ground floor. The elegant entrance area has been carefully renovated in close coordination with the Federal Monuments Office and offers barrier-free access.
